NY Section 1 High School Championship

 

 

Format: 36-Hole Stroke-Play Event (18 Holes played on 5/19 at Waccabuc Country Club, 18 Holes played on 5/28 at Sleepy Hollow Country Club)

 

Tees: Blue Tees

 

Push Carts are NOT permitted at Sleepy Hollow Country Club.

 

Driving Range: The driving range will open 30 minutes prior to the first tee time.

 

Spectator Policy: Spectators are permitted for walking only. Spectators are NOT permitted on the driving range, putting green, or greens on the golf course. Spectators may NOT give advice or intrude play.

 

What's at Stake?: The Top 9 Players will advance to the NY State High School Championship. 

 

Tiebreaker: In the event of any ties (for 1st place and qualifying for the NY State Championship), players will play a Sudden-Death Playoff on Hole 1. If there remains any ties on Hole 1, players will play Hole 2. Players will play the golf course in order until a winner is determined.

 

Live Scoring: All groups will be utilizing Golf Genius Live Scoring. Each Coach will be keeping scores for their group via the Golf Genius Mobile App. Players will still be keeping a physical scorecard. The written scorecard is the Official Scorecard. Please ensure all scores on the scorecard are correct before turning in your scorecard.

 

Awards: Awards Ceremony will be held at the West Lawn. Soft drinks and hors d'oeurves will be served.
